Simple Business Plan

If you are wanting to start a business there is no better way to start than with a simple business plan.

A simple business plan consists of 3 very important things, without planning for this you have no chance of even surviving in the world of business. So here are the 3 major aspects of a simple business plan.

1. Diagnose the problem. No matter what your business is, you cannot do anything without solving a problem first. If you already have a product and still haven’t determined the problem of the customer then you just have a product and no business. To determine the problem of a product you already have you must ask yourself, ”What problem does this solve?” If you do not have a product yet but are still looking for a simple business plan then you need to find a problem. What are people complaining about? What is making people’s lives more complicated and how can you eliminate it / make it simpler? Theses are the questions that you need to be asking. You run into problems every day even in your own home. These are all potential business ideas. So never overlook the problems that you have in your every day life as this could be your next business.

2. Solve the problem. So we have diagnosed to the problem. We know what people are complaining about, we know what they are mad about. So what are we going to do about it? We are going to solve the problem. How do we solve it? We create products that make people’s lives easier. Whether they are digital products or actual products. If something takes someone too long to do something online, can you automate it? If something is constantly losing the remote, can you create a product to help them keep track of it? Solve the problem and you will be 90% of the way to having a very successful business. But success does not come with out hard work.

3. Work and promote. You have the product now it’s time to let people know about your business. You cannot expect people to just know you have something that will solve their problem. That would be crazy. You have to drive people to your business. How are you going to do this? Start by making a list of different ways to get people to use your product. Make YouTube commercials, do publicity stunts, create a Facebook page, maybe even try to get a hold of the person that gave you the idea about your business. And keep working on your business until you sell it or until you are absolutely sure it is a complete failure. Continue to solve your customers problems as the come about. They may contact you and ask you to make changes to your product. Listen to them, make the changes, and you will build a life long relationship. Continue to build onto your product or business and you will be successful.

The main problem people have with business is being focused. Entrepreneurs are constantly jumping from business A to business B. This is not what you want to do. When you create business A you stick with business A. Never stop working on it. Do not go from one business to the next. Work on business A unless you are absolutely sure it is not going to work out. If you continue to do better than you competition and continue to work on making your business better, you will make more money and stay in business a heck of a lot longer than your competitors.

These are some really simple business plans above that will help you out tremendously in the long run. Start creating your business plan now. Get out a piece of paper and write down 20 problems that need to be solved – then solve those problems – see which one has a larger volume of people who are having this problem and build a business around that. Continue to work on it until it thrives without any additional work from yourself.
